Kiwi Ears Septet 

I really love the feel you get when you listen to them, hit way above the price with the realism and presence of instruments. There is a slight treble boost kinda of a "airy" sound, at first i was dropping it down slightly but now don't even bother because it only was a problem when paired with certain songs. The sub-bass is obviously a stand out, the thump really amazed me when i first got them (still does) i feel it in my chest which i have never ever had this experience with an in-ear before, its not over bearing like with a boost it naturally blends in with the rest of the experience.

An iem being open back though might be not as useful but the sound isolation actually surprised me, cleaning while someone was using the tv a few meters away was still good to listen to, not ideal but i'm cleaning so whatever.

ps. please use decently recorded stuff when using these cause you will hear it. i cant be bothered to correct my English hope it wasn't too bad :D

Kiwi Ears Septet – “Open-Back Fun with Real Stage Presence”
I’ve had the Septet a while now, and they keep surprising me. They’ve got that rare “open-back IEM” sense of space — you can actually feel air moving around instruments instead of everything being pressed up against your ears. Stage width and layering are genuinely impressive for this price.
Tonally they walk a fun line: smooth and lush through the mids, with just enough crispness up top to pull detail without getting fatiguing. There’s body and warmth (like a good Comply-tipped seal) but also clarity that makes percussion and horns breathe. They feel like the best of both worlds — lush but not veiled, wide but still coherent.
I’ve been tip-rolling a lot (Spiral Dots, Render tips, etc.) and noticed how responsive they are to tuning changes. With the right tips, they snap into focus beautifully. They’re also revealing enough to show flaws in older MP3s or compressed masters, which tells me the drivers are doing their job.
In short: the Septet are spacious, smooth, and effortlessly musical — more about immersion than hyper-analysis. I keep coming back to them because they make everything sound like a performance, not a test track.

Not good Build and Sound quality

Septet is the first Inear headset of Kiwi Ears with an outer shell made of metal, the quality is very good, the Semi Open design feels very comfortable wearing. The cable is very quality, basic eartips and small steam boxes.

With 95dB sensitivity, Septet is difficult to pull. The coordination with strong source and warm sound will help Septet shine. Subbass deep down, midbass enough "quantity", Low mid is very light and detailed upper mid, treble in addition to high brightness also has a beautiful extension. Great technicality in both soundstage and sound imaging.
