Our story
Kiwi Ears was founded in 2021 by a specialised team of engineers, as the in-house brand of Linsoul. Every driver is an instrument; the job is getting them to play together.
The beginning
Not a founding myth — the parts of the story a reader can check for themselves.
From budget disruption to technical mastery
Founded by a specialised team of engineers as Linsoul's in-house brand. The debut Orchestra arrives with eight balanced armatures per side — a flagship first, not a toe in the water.

A dedicated manufacturing facility with in-house R&D comes online. The Cadenza puts a beryllium-plated dynamic driver at a starter price, and becomes the recommendation that introduces most people to the brand.

The tuning range fans out: Orchestra Lite refines the all-BA flagship, Quartet and Quintet explore hybrid drivers, Melody goes planar — and the first Kiwi Ears cable line ships alongside the Forteza.

Pure freedom
Cut cords without losing soul. From 2023 the lineup grows past in-ears: cables, wireless, headphones and DAC/AMPs, all carrying the same natural tuning.
The collaboration era opens with Crinacle's Singolo and its acoustic-metamaterial bass. KE4 lands the studio benchmark, and the brand steps beyond IEMs: Allegro starts the DAC/AMP line, Division the headphone line.

The broadest year yet — flagships like Aventus and Astral, the wireless line, Serene and Belle, the AD1 dongle — and five VGP 2025 Summer awards across the lineup.

The family

The most useful thing to know before a first order: this is not a marketplace listing. Kiwi Ears belongs to a distributor that has been shipping audio since 2016 and that handles the warranty on every set.

The promise
Great sound, for everyone.
The range
In-ears are the centre of it, but the brand has grown past them. Every count below comes from the store itself, so this list cannot claim something that is not stocked.
20 products
The largest group, and where most people start.
12 products
Multi-driver sets, for detail and separation.
7 products
Dynamic and armature drivers in one shell, each doing what it is best at.
6 products
Where the brand has spent most of its engineering attention.
4 products
Small dongles, for getting a decent signal out of a phone.
6 products
Modular upgrade cables, tips and cases.
Categories overlap — a hybrid is counted as a hybrid and by its dynamic driver. Tribrids are the smallest group, at two.
Recognition
The 2025 Summer VGP awards, one of Japan’s longest-running audio-visual juries. Five Kiwi Ears products were honoured.
What we hold to
Price is a constraint, not an excuse
A set at thirty dollars gets the same tuning argument as one at four hundred. If the cheap one is not worth a review, it is not worth selling.
One authorised channel
Everything ships through Linsoul. It is less convenient than being everywhere, and it is the reason the twelve-month warranty actually means something.
Criticism is the input
The reviewers we work with are not asked to be kind, and several tuning decisions came out of arguments we lost.
Your turn
41 products is a lot to work through. Two minutes of questions about what you actually listen to narrows it down.
