Product FAQ.

Altruva is an accessible home-listening and studio-style headphone, combining a spacious open enclosure with tight bass, clear mids, and a complete accessory package.
Open-back over-ear
The 32 Ohm, 98 dB design benefits from a competent dongle, interface, receiver, or headphone amplifier. It is not an unusually difficult load, but very weak phone adapters may limit headroom.
Detachable dual 3.5 mm headphone-side cable
The open enclosure and balanced tuning suit albums, live recordings, and relaxed listening in a quiet room.
The current official package list includes 1 Kiwi Ears Altruva headphone, Detachable dual-3.5 mm cable, 3.5 mm to 6.35 mm adapter, Extra pair of velour ear pads, Protective case, and User manual.
Altruva includes two pad styles so the listener can compare fit and perceived tonal balance. The open-back design is best used in a quiet room.
Use a source that matches the published connector and output requirements. Relevant Kiwi Ears options include Kiwi Ears Allegro BAL and Kiwi Ears x B Media Terras Headphone Cable.
